General Availability of Disaster Recovery and Migration for VMware and Physical Servers using Azure Site Recovery.

Azure Site Recovery (ASR) service provides business continuity and disaster recovery solutions that protect Hyper-V or VMware on-premises servers and virtual machines. ASR conducts replication, fail-over and recovery of physical servers and virtual machines and provides workload aware disaster recovery. Recently Microsoft has announced the general availability (GA) of disaster recovery and migration of VMware and physical machines with ASR. Some key features of the GA are smart automated replication, the ability to simply run disaster recovery and fail-over tests and application growth protection.
